Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Juan-Arturo Maldonado is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and actor. His work focuses on creating stories of the Latino culture for a new generation and continuing to further representation in front of and behind the camera. He is currently pursuing his MFA in Screenwriting at the AFI Conservatory.
